      内容提要：
      “Made in Germany” is a quality guarantee for products and machines. Behind “Made in Germany” are many engineers with a Bachelor- or Master-study of engineering at German universities. Is the education in the faculties of engineering in Germany a successful story like “Made in Germany”?
      Everybody could have his own answer going through the presentation, which includes
      •a brief introduction to the German higher education system and European (education) harmonization process, the so-called Bologna process
      •typical infrastructures of faculties of engineering.The focus is also on “professorship”: how to become a professor (in engineering and applied sciences areas) and whose responsibilities and major tasks
      •education in faculties of engineering in Germany
      •research activities (and funding situations).
The presentation will be followed by a (hopefully) vital discussion.
      主讲人简介：
      丁先春教授1987-1992年在德国杜伊斯堡大学学习，从事故障诊断理论研究，1992年获博士学位。1995年被德国University of Applied Science Lausitz聘为终身教授，并于1998-2000年任该校副校长。2001年受聘于杜伊斯堡-埃森大学为控制工程首席教授，并接替Frank教授任自动控制及复杂系统所（AKS）所长。丁先春教授致力于把AKS建成一个在可靠与容错系统领域里国际一流的研究与人才培养中心。自2001年起，丁先春教授和AKS在欧盟第五、第六和第七框架项目（EC research framework programmes）担任协调者及组织者。近年来着重研究控制与检测系统的集成，基于模型与数据驱动方法的集成以及网络控制系统的集成分析与设计。同时，丁先春教授与德国汽车、过程和新能源工业界有着长期的紧密合作。
